INSULATION PROJECT
insulation installation

Proper install of insulation in your attic is key. Blocking soffits can cause poor to no airflow, and even cause black mold to grow. Installing air chutes from your soffit, in-between the roof sheathing and your insulation can help air flow. In some cases venting soffits, and or ridgelines can also increase airflow.

WAXMAN FLOOR PROJECT
wood floor re-surface / November 2013

This project involved refinishing the oak wood floors and oak step treads in this split-level home. We also painted the kick plates on the staircases and installed shoe molding.

ZOPPI PROJECT
laundry room remodel
/ October 2013

Remodel project to update this laundry room. Cabinets were installed to increase storage and countertops for workspaces. This project also involved installing a floating wood floor and a new corner shower.

belgium block curbing

This project involved installing belgium block curbing on the sides of the driveway. We also did some concrete driveway apron replacement work.

WAXMAN PROJECT

The existing front porch was falling apart. We removed it, built a retaining, and installed under ground drains. We then built a Techo Bloc retaining wall and paver porch, with a winding paver walkway leading to the driveway.

POLLINS DECK PROJECT

This deck project was an addition to an existing deck frame. The whole structure was beefed up, new decking installed, built in benches, ramps to the pool patio, and nice wide steps leading down to a side patio. Low voltage lighting was also installed to light the area at night.

EDWARDS WALL PROJECT
retaining wall repair / April 2013

This old natural rock wall failed because no drainage was installed behind the wall. We excavated the area, added a footing, installed a drainage system, and then rebuilt the wall. There are key factors that are needed when building retaining walls. We are certified SRW and ICPI installers. Look for these certifications when choosing an installer.

BUTLER & BERGMANN PROJECT
super storm sandy repair /
April 2013


Extensive interior and exterior repair work was needed on this Seaside, NJ beach house. Mold remediation, sheathing, siding, and all of the interior finish needed to be replaced. The flood damaged electrical system needed replacement. Plumbing system needed repair due to water lines freezing and bursting.

This bathroom remodel consisted of installing new tile on the floor and tile base molding; a new vanity and a new toilet along with a medicine cabinet, shelves and hanging mirror.

WIELAND PROJECT
super storm sandy repair
/ December 2012

After Sandy hit this home in Toms River, NJ and entire redo from the ground to 4 feet high was needed. After demolition, mold treatment was applied, then sub floors, insulation, sheetrock, flooring, trim / moldings / wall treatments, and paint brought this home back to proper and safe living conditions.

A total transformation was given to this dinning room. Wood floors, crown molding, chair molding with picture boxes, two toned painting treatments to the walls, new lighting, and window treatments.

GOODWIN PROJECT

& garage overhang / November 2012

This porch was given a face-lift; new stone step treads, natural stone facade, and some concrete pavers turned these old concrete steps into a beautiful focal point for the front of the house. An overhang with recessed lighting was also installed over the garage doors.

MASLOWSKI PROJECT
deck re-surface & fence / October 2012

A complete re-surface was given to this deck. Vinyl railings were installed, a wider staircase, and new concrete landing pad. Another small deck and fence were installed on the side of the house off the laundry room. By keeping the original deck structure this customer was able to get the look of a new deck at a lower cost.

BARCLAY FINISH PROJECT

Project included a complete finish on the basement, a bar, poker table, and billiard areas are some of the installs added to this basement. Large built in seating areas with inside storage bins are some nice features for hosting guests and keeping clutter out of sight.

On this bathroom remodel project we removed an existing bathtub, installed a tiled walk in shower with a custom glass door, and a custom shower control valve with a rain spray head, 6 body jets, and an adjustable wand sprayer.

LEVINE PROJECT
pre-finished oak floors / June 2012

Pre-finished oak floors were installed on the entire second floor of this house. All the old carpets were removed, the sub floor was inspected and corrected, paper was laid down to minimize squeaks, the oak flooring was nailed down, and then finished off with base and shoe molding.

This exterior paint project included stucco repair in its perpetration work, and window caulking. An elastomeric stucco paint was used for this project. This elastomeric paint is recommended for stucco, it minimizes surface cracks, and helps keep your stucco looking new for many years after its application.

Before we were able to paint the exterior of this home, we had to do a lot of siding replacement, trim repair and replacement, and fix some rot issues.

LOFTUS PROJECT
front door replacement / May 2012

Termite and rot damage destroyed the house framing and sub floor around the original front door. The door frame was removed, repairs were made to the structural framing and sub floor, a brand new door was installed, and new oak flooring was installed to match the existing flooring.

Project included a complete removal of the existing shingles. New tarpaper and ice shield were installed; flashing and seals were checked and replaced. Brand new asphalt shingles and ridge cap were installed.

PERAINE PROJECT

The window nook on this condo was leaking and had drafts around the windows. After opening the exterior walls rot was found due to poor weathering techniques used by the original builders. After new sheathing, house wrap, window seal tape, new wood / trim, and some paint the problem was fixed and the customer is saving on her energy bills.

This complete basement renovation included the demolition of the old flood damaged basement. Installed french drains, sump pump, and new concrete floor. Major re-supporting of this 100 plus year old home was also need to help the sagging and settling of the house. Many columns, posts, and support beams were needed.

CATHCART PROJECT

Project included turning a second floor attic into 650 square feet of new living space. This dormer addition features a master suite with connecting bathroom with a 7 ft. by 3 ft. beautiful walk in tiled shower, and a 11.5 ft. by 19 ft. additional bedroom. This turned this 2 bedroom 1 bath home into a 4 bedroom 2 bath home.

This beautiful back yard paradise features a two tiered Koi fish pond connected by waterfalls and streams that flow around a large natural flagstone patio, and a TREX deck with a pergola to block the sun. There is also a bridge that crosses over the large Koi fish pond.

Designed and built his beautiful backyard escape. This rose garden features many different species of roses,various other bushes, fruit bearing trees, and ground covers. Natural slate walkways and tumbled stone walls give this garden a real old world feel.

This large open / screened in deck is virtuously maintenance free featuring AZEK composite planking, Fairway vinyl railings, and vinyl siding. The screened in porch is a great way to escape the bugs in the summer. This deck also features low voltage post lighting and a ceiling fan.
